Todd Moilanen

President/CEO
Cloverdale Equipment Company
Todd Moilanen is a third-generation owner/operator of Cloverdale Equipment Company, a full-service construction equipment distributor and rental company. Todd has worked with Cloverdale for 32 years, and has served in his current capacity since 2001. The company provides items such as aerial work platforms, telehandlers, forklifts, rough terrain and industrial cranes, boom trucks, portable air compressors and other related construction equipment and has locations in Oak Park and Norton Shores in Michigan, and also in Berea, Ohio, and Bridgeville, Pennsylvania. Todd has a B.A. in Business from Michigan State University and an M.B.A. in Business from University of Detroit Mercy. He is a member of Young Presidents Organization (YPO), the Brother Rice Dads’ Club, and the Birmingham Country Club. When not working, Todd enjoys golfing, boating, hockey, hunting and lacrosse, as well as watching Michigan State University football and basketball games. He and his wife Jennifer have three kids and live in Beverly Hills.

Dean Morales, Jr.

Dean Morales serves as the President and visionary at Heritage and Company, Inc., a signatory, bid, build and maintenance landscape company. As the visionary, he maintains the culture of the organization. Dean started Heritage in 2001 during his freshman year of college, initially providing lawn care services. To date, Dean and the Heritage Team have grown the company significantly – Heritage has become a leader in the landscape industry, handling large-scale, complex, full-services landscape install projects of any size and complexity. Focusing on commercial, industrial and institutional landscape projects, Heritage and Company offers services throughout Michigan and surrounding states.  Dean graduated from the University of Michigan with a B.B.A. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Michigan Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. In 2016 Heritage and Company, Inc. was awarded the 2016 High Impact Hispanic Business Enterprise. Dean is an avid outdoorsman/huntsman and loves spending his free time with his family in the “great state of Michigan” and enjoys coaching his two daughters’ youth sports teams.

Gerald Caratelli

Gerry Caratelli is Vice President and Managing Partner of Architectural Building Components, Inc. (ABC), a leading architectural material supplier in Michigan. He co-founded the company in 1989, obtaining leading manufacturers in the architectural market and bringing representation to the state of Michigan. Gerry currently serves as Board Member and Treasurer for the Metro Detroit chapter of the Construction Specification Institute (CSI), is past President and current member of the Producers Council of Michigan (MPC), and an Associate Board Member of the Glazing Contractors Association (GCA). Gerry also heads up the Architectural Rep Advisory Council for Ruskin Manufacturing, a JCI Company.
Gerry studied business at Oakland University and engineering and architecture at Lawrence Technological University. He spends his personal time managing rental properties and working on numerous home and property improvement projects. He enjoys watching most sports, participating in “as many the body allows,” and traveling with his wife Katie. Gerry and Katie live in Berkley.

Robert Broner

President

Bob Broner joined the family business in 1986 after completing his B.S. in Marketing Management from Wayne State University. Bob has served Broner in many capacities prior to becoming president in 2009. He has direct experience in sales, purchasing, sales management and is knowledgeable in all facets of wholesale distribution. During his career, Bob has traveled overseas over 30 times sourcing gloves, safety equipment, hats and other accessories. In addition, he’s earned his OSHA 10-hour certification and continues to earn Safety Equipment Expert training hours, certified by The Safety Network. His passion for the safety industry has helped position Broner Glove and Safety for success in what is now its fourth generation. Bob is a past President and current Board Member of The Headwear Association, an industry association with over 100 years of experience fostering goodwill and fellowship amongst its members. He is also enrolled in the Management Solutions training program presented by the Sandler Sales Training organization, where he meets monthly with other business owners and leaders to share and execute best practices in leadership. In his spare time, Bob enjoys spending time with family, using his membership to the Oakland University Golf Center, exercising, and college athletics. He and his wife Kim live in West Bloomfield and are recent “empty nesters.”

Jeremy Gay

Jeremy Gay is a CPA licensed in Michigan and Illinois and has over 20 years of construction financial management experience, operating in both public accounting and industry financial management. He has been the CFO of JD Candler Roofing in Livonia and McDonald Roofing in Jackson since 2017. JD Candler Roofing celebrated its 140th anniversary in 2019. Prior to this position, Jeremy was a manager at Plante Moran, LLC, specializing in audit, tax, and consulting of the construction industry. Before relocating to Michigan in 2011, he spent 10 years as the chief financial management officer at a general contractor in Illinois. He began his career in public accounting.Jeremy received a B.A. in business administration, with a major in accountancy, from Drake University. He obtained the Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional credential affiliated with the Construction Financial Management Association in 2015. Jeremy is a member of the CFMA, CAM and the MICPA. He has also been a member of the CAM Biennial Business survey committee. In his spare time, Jeremy enjoys golf, tennis, home improvement projects, and spending time with his wife, young son, and family. Jeremy is an avid Chicago sports fan and an 80s comedy movie fanatic. He and his wife, Jennifer, and son Oliver reside in Pittsfield Township.

Teresa Miller

Teresa Miller is a Program Manager for Detroit-based Walsh Construction, responsible for leading the firm’s Michigan building projects, pursuits and operations. With more than 22 years of industry experience, Teresa has established a proven reputation for developing and maintaining long-term customers in the commercial, education, and healthcare sectors. Teresa joined the Walsh Group to grow the company’s buildings market in the state of Michigan. Her past experiences include work as an architect as well as in construction planning and field operations, previously leading the healthcare market segment at Barton Malow Company. She is currently leading new development projects including the Michigan State University Grand Rapids Innovation Park and The Mid Hotel in Detroit. She is part of the Steering Committee for the Habitat for Humanity Women’s Build Campaign, Board Member of the Metro Detroit American Heart Association (AHA) and Chair of the AHA’s Hard Hats with Heart Committee. Teresa attended the University of Michigan where she obtained a B.S. in Architecture and a Master’s degree in both Engineering and Architecture. In her spare time, she enjoys cheering on the Wolverines, traveling and spending time with her family.
