Founded in 1885 as the Builders Exchange of Detroit and Michigan, the Construction Association of Michigan (CAM) is one of the oldest and largest regional construction associations in North America.

CAM is a not-for-profit organization consisting of over 1,700 members, including general contractors, subcontractors, equipment and material suppliers, architects, engineers and service firms (attorneys, financial management, and others).
