MIOSHA Programs

The Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Administration (MIOSHA) and the Construction Associationof Michigan (CAM) recognize the value of establishing a collaborative relationship to foster safer and more healthful workplaces. To that end, MIOSHA and CAM, have formed an alliance to provide CAM members and other with information, guidance, and access to training resources that will help them protect the health and safety of workers in the construction industry.

While participation by individual employers is voluntary, CAM acknowledges that contractors, who embrace the goals of the alliance and who strive to provide a safe and healthy workplace, will experience a decrease in workplace accidents and illnesses, and a decrease in workers’ compensation costs.

Fall Protection, Electrocution, Struck-By and Caught-In accidents are the four leading causes of fatalities in the construction industry and these are the topics that we can present as part of the grant.

Under a grant from the Michigan Occupational Safety & Health Administration (MIOSHA), CAMSAFETY is able to provide this training at NO CHARGE to your company. The online programming provided under this grant is awareness level training delivered through the Google Classroom platform. The program incorporates quizzes to verify understanding and upon completion, participants will be granted a certificate of completion issued through the CAM Foundation. Participants must request access to the program to be enrolled.
