MIOSHA Programs
The Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Administration (MIOSHA) and the Construction Associationof Michigan (CAM) recognize the value of establishing a collaborative relationship to foster safer and more healthful workplaces. To that end, MIOSHA and CAM, have formed an alliance to provide CAM members and other with information, guidance, and access to training resources that will help them protect the health and safety of workers in the construction industry.
While participation by individual employers is voluntary, CAM acknowledges that contractors, who embrace the goals of the alliance and who strive to provide a safe and healthy workplace, will experience a decrease in workplace accidents and illnesses, and a decrease in workers’ compensation costs.
